After disclosing the development of etaHEN DPIv2, developer LightningMods recently shared more news regarding the PlayStation 5 version of ItemzFlow, announcing the arrival of two new features with the update to version 1.09.
The first of these represents a welcome return for users who are familiar with the homebrew scene on PlayStation 4: it is the ability to make updates of retail games directly from the console.
A feature that was already present on the PS4 version of ItemzFlow and that is now also reintroduced on PS5, as demonstrated by some screenshots captured by a tester.
2 new features are coming in the itemzflow (PS5) 1.09 update, one of them you might remember from PS4, that's right, on-console retail game updates are back

The second feature is to restore the progress bar for installing PKG files via the PKG Installer, an element that, similar to what was happening on PS4, will allow users to monitor the installation status of packages on their console in real time.
These additions promise to improve the use experience of ItemzFlow on PS5, making the software more intuitive and functional for managing homebrew content and beyond.
