Developer Echo Stretch has released publicly 1.07 Beta test of Kstuff, one of the most widely used payloads on modified PlayStation 5 consoles.

The update introduces several improvements that aim to increase compatibility, performance and reliability, confirming the continuous support for the project by the developer.

The most important novelty of this release concerns the correct functioning of the Trophy Unlock function. After numerous reports and tests carried out by the community, many users confirm that the unlocking of the trophies is finally operational and stable.

This improvement is an important step for those who use payload in testing and development activities within the homebrew PS5 ecosystem.

Kstuff 1.07 Beta also introduces improved compatibility with ShadowMountPlus, enabling more reliable management of the features connected to content editing.

In parallel, interventions were made to the general performance of the payload, with particular attention to loading speed and stability during daily use.

The first feedback received from the community is particularly positive on older firmwares, especially on version 4.03, where different users report faster loading times and better overall behavior than previous releases.

On more modern firmwares, such as version 10.40, some testers have instead encountered sporadic crashes with certain games, a situation however not unusual considering that it is still a beta version in the process of aging.

In addition to Kstuff 1.07 Beta, Dump Installer 1.06 Beta is also being deployed, a tool designed to simplify the installation of game dumps and homebrew applications directly from the Homebrew Launcher.

Thanks to this software it becomes possible to manage installations and tests without having to continuously resort to the transfer of files via FTP, greatly speeding up the workflow of the most active users in the scene.

Note: The menu will not work if the console is activated and connected to a network.
