RPCS3-Android was an experimental port of the  RPCS3 emulator, designed to bring PlayStation 3 emulation to  Android devices. However, the project was  discontinued, with the last available version being  Alpha-7.

Project Status

  • Archived: RPCS3-Android standalone development has ceased.
  • Merged with RPCSX: The code has been merged into the  RPCSX project, a fork of RPCS3 with additional optimizations and features.
  • RPCSX Android UI: The Android version has been re-released as a dedicated interface under the name  RPCSX Android UI, available for download in the official releases on GitHub.

  • Android 12 or higher (required for operation).

License

RPCS3-Android was released under the GPLv2 license, except for folders or files with specific licenses indicated in their respective LICENSE files.

Conclusion
Although RPCS3-Android is no longer in development, its legacy lives on in  RPCSX, which may offer improvements and continued support. Interested users can download the latest version of RPCSX Android UI from the official release page  to experience PS3 emulation on mobile devices.
