Sony has just released new firmware for PlayStation Portal, the aim of which is to improve the user experience of the cloud Game Streaming service, which is still offered in Beta, and is available to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers.

This firmware update adds new features that aim to make usage smoother and more customizable, benefiting from user experience and feedback.

For example, it is possible to sort games in the cloud streaming catalog, a button has been added to the top left of the interface, it organizes the titles according to 3 criteria: recently added, alphabetical order or release date.

It is possible to capture screenshots and record clips using the Create button on PlayStation Portal.

A queue has been integrated to access streaming servers when they are full, an auto-pause function and inactivity notifications after 10 minutes without interaction have been added.

Finally, a user feedback screen has been introduced at the end of streaming sessions, allowing the quality of the experience to be assessed, allowing developers to improve the service.

However, this update does not correct any flaws, as none have been found since firmware 2.01.It’s all here:  blog.playstation.com
