Developer Al-Azif has released a new update to the PS4-HEN (Homebrew Enabler) project for the PS4. Pre-release version 1.7.0 (main-170) is now available and includes support for firmware 13.00.
However, a very important technical distinction must be made, as the most attentive rightly point out, this update adds support for firmware 13.00, but the actual functionality depends on the presence and effectiveness of an entry point (an exploitable vulnerability) on this firmware version, which is not yet the case currently, the exploit being available up to firmware 12.02!
Developer Al-Azif added the offsets to PS4-HEN so that it would be exploitable on firmware 13.00, but when an entry point is available, which, as you may have noticed, is not yet the case. This does not mean that the exploit or entry point for version 13.00 has been discovered, simply that if a working entry point is available for firmware 13.00, HEN will be ready to support it directly.
