A quick update has been released for Red Viper, the Virtual Boy emulator for
Nintendo 3DS, an evolution of mrdanielps‘r 3Ddragon project, which in turn is based on
Reality Boy and Red Dragon.
This new version fixes several issues and introduces improvements aimed at optimizing the gaming experience. Bugs have been fixed that caused the home screen in Virtual League Baseball 2 to advance immediately , enemies to disappear in Red Alarm , and the score to malfunction in Space Invaders .
Also improved the graphical behavior when exiting the pause menu in Golf and fixed some visual glitches when leveling up in Jack Bros.
The update also fixes a crash that occurred with the Abarth wireframe demo , a ROM loader crash in single-file folders, and performance losses introduced with version 1.1.0.
Finally, the anti-flicker feature has been disabled during software rendering, as it was unnecessary in these cases and caused visual problems.
